The aim of the scheme is to help all our Member businesses start their journey towards a responsible net zero business operation. By completing the GLTBS checklist, Members will be able to demonstrate this commitment to consumers by using the Green Leaf Logo.
Each tickbox on the checklist is worth 1 point unless otherwise stated making a total possible score of 100 points. Awards will be made as follows:
Bronze: 25-50 pts
Silver: 51-70 pts
Gold: 71-100 pts
Whether your business achieves bronze, silver or gold GLTBS status on completion of the checklist, the relevant logo and details of your performance will be available for guests to see via a link on your product page on www.thenewforest.co.uk. It is therefore important to provide evidence to validate each GLTBS activity that you have ticked.
From January 2022 onwards, GLTBS will be a key component of all destination marketing promotion and PR activity.
