Carol has worked in the tourism team for the last 10 years. She owned a secretarial agency in Ringwood and was also PA to the New Forest Committee when it was first set up, prior to starting a family.
Having lived in the Ringwood area since the age of 11, she has been a past member of the Institute of Qualified Private Secretaries and more recently completed a Prince2 Project Management Course.
Carol is married with two grown-up children and enjoys walking and cycling in the New Forest during her spare time. She regularly attends evening classes to try out new skills, her most recent being a Professional Chefs’ course at Brockenhurst College.
Digital Marketing Lead
Rachael has lived in the New Forest all her life and is passionate about the local area and enjoys capturing the destination through the lens of a camera.
She joined the tourism team 8 years ago in 2016 and has been with us ever since, working her way up to Digital Marketing Lead, learning a wide variety of new skills and knowledge along the way.
Rachael successfully completed a Level 3 ITQ Apprenticeship during her first year within the tourism team and also achieved A Levels in ICT, Business & Economics, Psychology and Photography prior to joining the team.
She is an avid dog lover, and she loves extreme sports, being by the water, and indie-rock and country music. She also enjoys travelling and experiencing other countries and cultures.
Admin and Marketing Assistant
Emma was born in Bournemouth and has lived adjacent to the New Forest her whole life.
She has a passion for the New Forest and its heritage, and likes to spend weekends exploring new hidden gems with her daughter.
Emma started her career in childcare and then moved on to work for a successful energy provider in Bournemouth. Sadly following redundancy just before COVID, she then went on to work in a busy café in Bournemouth, so she could spend more time with her daughter, whilst successfully completing a HR Course.
She was keen to find a career where she could use her office-based skills and knowledge, and she joined the Go New Forest team in December 2022, where she works part-time assisting with admin, social media, the Go New Forest Card and further digital marketing!
Emma enjoys reading, spending time socialising with friends & family and loves a roast dinner!
Ebony is a 10-year-old Black Labrador Retriever and is a popular resident of the local area, making everyone fall in love with her with those puppy dog eyes.
After food (typical Lab), her favourite thing in the world is walk in the New Forest! Her skills include sit, laydown, paw, roll over, gentle and some other tricks here and there. She is the master of catching the ball, but even after all these years, she hasn’t quite learned the art of dropping it.
She is a very experienced office dog, attending the office almost full time, however she’s not a particularly pro-active member of the team, spending much of the day sleeping and looking around for the occasional ear scratch. She lives for her lunchtime walks and, of course, the treat that comes after the walk!
