Job Outline
Avon Tyrrell a busy established outdoor centre in the New Forest. After a period of internal and external training you will be able to deliver a variety of inspirational, safe, high-quality outdoor learning sessions from climbing and canoeing to bushcraft and environmental education to a wide range of groups and individuals.
No experience is required but candidates should enjoy meeting new people, be able to communicate effectively and be prepared to work inside and out in all weathers.
Training is provided on site and in addition to your Level 3 Outdoor Activity Instructor apprenticeship qualification, you will also receive a minimum of 3 external NGB qualifications.
In additional to external support from our training provider all our apprentices also have a designated internal mentor to support you with your learning and technical training.
A basic apprentice starter pack is also provided and includes staff uniform and a small technical equipment budget.
