Our Outdoor Learning Apprenticeship programme is a great way to kick-start a rewarding career in the outdoor industry. On your 2-year journey with us you will gain skills, qualifications and the confidence to run a variety of outdoor activities.
Whether you are interested in climbing and high ropes, bushcraft, mountain biking or canoeing we offer a wide range of inspiring outdoor activities available throughout the year. You will engage with a wide variety of participants, gaining experience working on school residentials, development programmes, family events and supporting participants with disabilities and additional needs.
An instructors main role is to deliver safe outdoor learning sessions with a focus on helping individuals to experience, learn and develop. However, to enable this to happen there are many other related duties such as safety checking equipment, preparing resources and maintaining activity bases. The role of an instructor is varied and brings new challenges every day.
