An exciting position has become available for a full-time Senior Sous Chef based in Lymington and New Forest area. The successful candidate will earn £32,500 basic with an OTE of £40,000+ with bonuses. The appointed candidate will have a passion for producing fresh home cooked food to a high standard in a busy environment, you will be joining an exciting team striving to reach an excellent standard of cooking.
You will have excellent communication skills along with the ability to manage and organise yourself and your kitchen effectively and efficiently as well as deputising for the Head Chef on their days off. The position is considered a head chef in waiting and as such you will have a keen eye on achieving (and exceeding) targets and goals of the business.

To assist in the preparation, cooking and presentation of the menu.
To maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness in the kitchen areas in line with current EHO standards.
To help create and operate an efficient rota of kitchen staff and cover
To apply the necessary practises and procedures to maintain food safety protocols.
To be responsible for the running of the kitchen, its staff and facilities in the absence of the Head · Chef The Head & Senior Sous chef is charged with the duty of overseeing all kitchen operations
To provide the necessary facilities, assistance and support to aid the smooth and effective operation of the business.
